We need some pre-floxed CRISPR strains (i.e. with SEC) for a high school lab project. Does anyone have any they would share? The gene is irrelevant. Any will do! Please DM. Thank you!

We are now CRISPR Academy, an authentic research experience for HS students. Our 1st research paper is now out at microPublication Biology. Check it out if you're ever had problems targeting the X chromosome with CRISPR.

Every year our House team names get less and less about science and more and more about memes and social media trends. Kidz, amirite?😒🙄

If we were able to develop and offer a workshop in Glasgow on the Glow Worms educational model and workflow, would there be any interest in that? Or is it too niche? #celegans #CRISPR

Great! But what would you want to learn? How we break down CRISPR design strategy? How we integrate education, research, awareness, and development? As an example, here is our Spring semester course plan: tinyurl.com/5r8sp7c6

We want to add some rab proteins and kinases to our target list for this year. If we can get some consensus targets (on wantlist of maybe 5 research groups) that would be great. Feel free to post them here. #crispr #celegans

Just saw that one of our strains was recently published in this paper from the @Seydouxlab. So cool! Shoutout to alum Diya Sharma (Glow Worms ’21) for making this strain! mNG::EDC-3 can be used as a P-body marker. #celegans #CRISPR doi.org/10.1242/dev.200920
