There is no right or wrong, but it is safe to say that a lot of the issues we face in Esports today are homegrown, trying to build around a sports identity rather than a lifestyle culture one, which these days keeps growing more and more.

The consequence of a closed regional system that is limited by regional growth. Sad to see the league go, from a sentimental pov. I still remember the very first post on all of them. And although I did not work on the league anymore for 2 years, it did outlive its purpose.

Quite frankly, no Product/Project Manager could have made this thing bigger than it already was. The limitations are above what the league was able to do for growth. But that's okay; projects come and go, and you learn from them, like a playground to explore.
