Time to leave. It's been a while since I was active here. As much as I love the way the tech community used Twitter to connect, I cannot be associated with this company and system anymore. Find me on LinkedIn or elsewhere and stop supporting people who spread bad ideas. #exitX

Yes! Having a formal team can help, but there is more to it! You still have to: - sponsor them with other teams - adjust existing processes - learn new modes of interaction It took us some time to establish our first horizontal (now enabling) team in our organization.

What if the most important part of "platform engineering" is maintaining a high quality wiki with proven, empathic patterns for Stream-aligned teams to follow? πŸ“„ #platformengineering #DevOps

Exciting new launch in a significant gap, measuring product teams performance in terms of outcomes and that based on facts and tangible evidence, rather than guesstimates. An evolution improving the OKRs framework by combining with the North Star framework and outcome delivery
Launch day has arrived. Stellafai is here. I’m thrilled to invite you to explore Stellafai.com. In the coming days I’ll be tweeting more about why you should & how you can engage with our consulting services & join our beta testing product team. πŸš€ Ready for lift-off?!

@ckavili and Angels Dimitri Gutierrez delivering When GitOps Meets UX at #GitOpsCon We definitely need more UX in Platform Engineering! It's so easy to fall into the trap of thinking one knows the user's needs.

yes. individual engineers can *write* software, but only teams can deliver, ship, maintain and own software. the smallest unit of software delivery is the team.

"Cloud versus Datacenter" is mostly missing the point. Is your infrastructure programmable via code? Is your infrastructure testable via code? "Cloud" is programmable as standard. That's why cloud is a force multiplier, not just because someone else is running things.

Probably the most comprehensive guide for both business and technology leaders on how to make #DevOps real and scale across apps and platform teams is out. It also covers in a very hands on way how to combine DevOps with #agile, #designthinking and #leanproductdevelopment
Thrilled and proud to share that my book, "DevOps Culture and Practice with OpenShift: Deliver continuous business value through people, process and technology", written with @eformat, @noeloc, @spring_do and beautifully illustrated by @ilaria66 has been published by @PacktPub

Being a climber and hiker, I love this explanation of how one sets up software teams for success
There is also the situation where managers are in a mindset of "shopping for dinner party" (more options the better) vs "buying for a hiking trip" (you will have to carry the weight)
