Two days ago we launched the first trustless, non-custodial swaps on Magi with HIVE/HBD and BTC/HBD pools.
The launch went better than expected and only minor bugs surfaced that were swiftly dealt with. Right now, we are starting work on UI optimisation for Altera and the Incentive Pendulum that will allow for validators/node runners to start earning rewards for securing the chain.
Over the next couple of days, starting with $DASH, $Ethereum and $USDC, we will be adding more liquidity pools.
The community support has been overwhelmingly positive and we want to repay the community by continuing to deliver at this accelerated pace for as long as we can.

This is day 1 software and the pools have shallow liquidity for now so any large swap in relation to pools can move the price.
If you have a Xverse and Leather wallet you can now also hold Hive and HBD in Bitcoin wallets.

We executed the first native BTC swaps on Magi in both directions.
Real Bitcoin came in, hopped through HBD as settlement, and arrived as native HIVE on Hive mainnet. Reversed: HIVE through HBD and out as real BTC on Bitcoin mainnet, completely trustless, TSS signed, without bridges, wrapped tokens, and middlemen.

As native $BTC liquidity pools prepare to launch on MAGI in the coming days, we’re excited to announce the start of our next major integration with our friends at @Dashpay.

What I did was login into Altera and select send HIVE from @lordbutterfly to a eth wallet address. I connected via Metamask to Altera. Then i filmed the video. :)
Basically just sent the funds back.
What this will eventually allow you to do is connect a metamask and send ETH to @lordbutterfly. Always send your ETH to me. hahaha.
But in practical terms... Say youre @splinterlands, you want to sell your next expac to Bitcoin maxis, to Ethereum holders, to LTC holders.... they would just connect whatever wallet they use and buy cards. the @splinterlands Hive account would receive those funds to their Hive wallet address on VSC. Their Hive wallet address would hold BTC, LTC, ETH, whatever. Thats Native Asset Mapping.
Or they could just plug into the crosschain swaps and receive Hive instead of BTC, LTC, ETH, SOL, whatever.
