This sentiment from the First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California is dangerous and wrong.
Responsible public voices should be awaiting a full investigation, not making generalizations and demonizing law-abiding citizens.
If you approach law enforcement with a gun, there is a high likelihood they will be legally justified in shooting you.

So he throws a fit, forces our allies to deploy actual military assets, puts the stock market in free fall, brings into question the strength and durability of NATO, incures the wrath and anger of the people of Greenland, and emboldens our geopolitical allies across the globe all to get what could have been gotten in a single request made over a thirty minute phone call from a nation and autonomous region that were already our allies with a history of broad cooperation going back over 80 years!?
This isn't 4D chess, this isn't even thumbless checkers, this is making mud pies out of kitty litter when your mom has a home made apple pie waiting for you five feet away on a picnic blanket.

The TV Networks (specifically Fox and ABC) are refusing to run this ad for @SavingCollSprts today during the games.
No good reason given as to why - just ignoring us or telling us to contact their attorneys. The General Council for one major network told me it was a βbusiness decisionβ. This was AFTER weβd sent them a large wire to pay for the ads!
Why would the networks want to silence a legitimate debate around an issue that affects hundreds of thousands of kids and is existentially threatening to womenβs sports and Olympic sports? What is the βbusiness reasonβ that overrides the benefit and enjoyment that college sports provide to tens of millions of Americans?
What are they hiding??
If there was ever a question that money, control, and greed are being prioritized over student athletes, fans, and communitiesβ¦Here you go!!
We all knew that the current situation in college sports seemed very slimy and was driven by people who couldnβt care less about the common goodβ¦. But we had no idea how bad it truly is!!
Itβs become obviousβ¦We have to drain the swamp that College Sports have become!!
This fight isnβt about me, and it certainly isnβt about TV ads - itβs much bigger. Itβs about doing what is right and necessary to save a great American institution. I promise that I wonβt stop fighting until we are successful in solving this problem, and I know I can count on many of you to join me!
