Director's Note EP.3📝 : โดนัทพิเศษ
จริง ๆ แล้วนี่เป็นอีกหนึ่งฉากที่เราชอบเป็นพิเศษ เพราะสำหรับเรา มันเป็นฉากโรแมนติกฉากหนึ่งของเรื่องเลย
วันนั้นเป็นซีนถ่ายสุดท้ายของวันพอดี นักแสดงและทีมงานต่างก็ผ่านการทำงานหนักมาทั้งวันซึ่งบังเอิญไปตรงกับสถานการณ์ของบาร์ธและแทนรักในฉากนี้ที่เพิ่งกลับมาจากการช่วยงานเช่นกัน บางครั้งความเหนื่อยก็มีประโยชน์ เพราะมันทำให้น้ำหนักการแสดง โทนเสียง แววตา และรอยยิ้มของทั้งคู่ ออกมาเป็นธรรมชาติมากกว่าที่เราคาดไว้จนกลายเป็นอินเนอร์ที่ตรงกับภาพที่คิดไว้ตั้งแต่ตอนเขียนบท
สิ่งที่ชอบอีกอย่างคือบทสนทนาที่เรียบง่ายมาก บาร์ธมองแทนรักอยู่พักหนึ่ง ก่อนที่แทนรักจะถามว่า "อะไร?" และบาร์ธตอบกลับว่า "ไม่ได้เห็นมึงยิ้มมานานแล้ว" และสำหรับเราบทสนทนาต่อจาก นั้นอาจเป็นครั้งแรก ๆ ที่ตัวละครทั้งสองเริ่มวางความรู้สึกบางอย่างเอาไว้ให้กัน เป็นเหมือนหมุดหมายเล็ก ๆ ที่บอกว่าคนคนนี้เริ่มมีความหมายไม่เหมือนเดิมอีกต่อไป
เป็นอีกหนึ่งวันที่พอถ่ายฉากนี้เสร็จแล้ว เราไปบอกน้อง ๆ ว่า "วันนี้พี่ได้ซีนดีกลับบ้านอีกแล้ว"

honestly, I don’t think the meaning changes because of the situation.
I think it changes because of who says it.
Every letter has a yellow outline…
except the “T”.
So maybe that “T” stopped being part of the sentence the moment Barth wrote it

ประโยคนี้ผ่านการทดลองอยู่หลายเวอร์ชัน กว่าจะมาเป็นคำนี้เราพยายามหาคำที่สามารถทำหน้าที่ได้หลายอย่างในเวลาเดียวกัน ทั้งสอดคล้องกับจังหวะการเล่าเรื่อง และฟังดูเหมือนเป็นคำขวัญที่สามารถมีอยู่จริงในโรงเรียนแห่งนี้ได้ จนมาหยุดอยู่ที่คำว่า TRUST ME, I'M WITH YOU. สิ่งที่ชอบที่สุดคือมันมีความหมายได้มากกว่าหนึ่งแบบ เป็นได้ทั้งคำขวัญของโรงเรียน และคำปลอบโยนที่บอกกับใครสักคนว่า คุณไม่ได้เดินอยู่เพียงลำพัง
แต่เมื่อประโยคเดียวกันถูกนำมาอยู่ในบริบทของเรื่องราวและตัวละคร มันก็อาจมีความหมายที่แตกต่างออกไป อาจเป็นคำที่ใครบางคนอยากได้ยินหรือใครบางคนอยากบอกกับอีกคน หรือเป็นคำที่ใช้แทนความรู้สึกบางอย่างที่ไม่ได้พูดออกมาตรง ๆ ดังนั้นในตอนนี้จึงหวังว่าผู้ชมแต่ละคนจะค้นพบความหมายของมันด้วยตัวเอง

Tanrak thought his feelings were a sin.But after a while,it stopped being about God.
He genuinely believed Barth liked Cherry.And that’s why he kept trying to stay away.Not because he didn’t want Barth.But because he thought loving him would ruin something.

That’s why Tanrak’s resistance finally broke the moment Barth said:
“I like boys.

Because for the first time,
Tanrak realized he wasn’t fighting temptation anymore.
He was fighting the fear of being loved back.

And for a few seconds,Tanrak forgot he was supposed to keep fighting his own desires.But the saddest part was Tanrak realizing his smile had disappeared for a while.

He noticed the distance.

The way Tanrak kept avoiding him.
And he kept trying to make him smile again.
Sometimes people don’t need confessions.
You can tell how important someone is just by the way you refuse to give up on them.

He is afraid to touch holy water.

For me, asking for help feels much bigger than that.
It always feels like I might become a burden.

Because people like me never trust God. We know happiness comes only to be sure the pain of losing that hit harder. I am sure @backaof is like a god in this series and it shows he did a lot of research and maybe experience. Who knows? But...

I guarantee tomorrow Ep starts beautiful, full of yellow color and alive and it turns to tears. It is a plot twist and completely rational because tanrak went to bathroom completely broken and you think he accept this love this much easily? Ignore and it breaks the door to show.
