Okay, time for the headcanon: abstraction (kaufmo, for example) can be reversed, but it requires a lot of time and effort, just like overcoming trauma through treatment. It's not quick, it's not easy, it's slow and very difficult.
I'd say it's a bit delusional.

it's so hard to like. organise my thoughts on the finale especially being over 2 weeks into my spoiled acceptance period. i don't think it's fully bad, but neither do i think it's good. it is Painfully wanting and unfortunately that means it will bother me forever

anyway i will say this that if something disappoints you or even if you just like it enough you can just steal the characters you like to make ocs out of them. they don't tell you about this but its something you can and should do. peace and love forever

unfortunately i do think tadc is kind of just a mid show overall which mostly just excels at showing you Concepts of interesting things and considtently falls on its face plotwise. but jax and the funbun dynamic is so good i donnnnnnnt freaking care
