ALT Flyer for WALII 2023 summer internships for undergraduates. The Water and Life Interface Institute (WALII, pronounced “Wally”) is a newly awarded NSF Biology Integration Institute that studies how life interacts with water, from the molecular to the organismal level, across plants, fungi, and animals. WALII is a virtual institute across 9 US research facilities. Available positions - 8 of the WALII campuses are seeking undergraduate summer interns! Interns will be hosted in WALII labs across the United States and contribute to cutting edge research. No previous research experience is required. All interns receive stipends and career development training, form a virtual cohort, and participate in a mentorship program. The 8 institutions hosting interns are UC Merced, Carnegie Institution for Science, California State University Channel Islands, USDA-ARS, U of Wyoming, U of Wisconsin-Madison, Baylor College, and Michigan State University.
