A woman cannot fully enjoy her rights if sheโs harassed at work, denied safe conditions, punished for motherhood, denied time or space to breastfeed, trapped in exploitative labour or unable to report violence because the company claims it will affect business.
Implementation of this amendment should create a-bit of pressure on all responsible actors especially employers to review internal policies and workplace systems.
