New research from SecureTrust, a VikingCloud company, finds that 44% of agency owners manage cybersecurity entirely on their own, and 26% say the person doing the job isn't trained for it.
Meanwhile, 68% now rank cyberattacks as the single biggest threat to their business in 2026, ahead of inflation and recession.
The most practical place to start closing the gap: securing the payment environment, where the most sensitive customer data lives.
