What is the solution to this problem? Could the business be taken over and sold to another company? Why has it become so dependent on the Russian market? It seems unlikely that that can remain unsanctioned by the EU while exporting so much to Russia. Does our government need to intervene before the EU does?
This is a mess- clerical error does not cut the mustard. In any event Ireland is a source of alumina which goes into weapons. We should not be exporting to Russia from a company owned by a Putin oligarch in Ireland. Thank you @ConorGallaghe_r for your work on this

I owe Nigel Farage an apology.
During last night’s Newsnight we covered the murder of Henry Nowak and the political reaction to the case, including discussing Nigel Farage’s comments about “pure, cold rage”.
However I referred to “white cold rage”. This was a mistake on my part, a misremembering of the quote. It didn’t change the content of the interview but I should have got the quote right. I apologise to Nigel Farage for this.
