Building on recent editions focused on bridging perspectives, transitions, and generational shifts, we will foreground community-led visual methods, collaborative storytelling, and the politics of representation across urban, rural, and hybrid environments. 2/3
Contributions can be in the form of extended abstracts, papers, panel proposals, workshop proposals, and/or proposals for visual exhibitions, participatory work or creative activities.

A short update about our upcoiming conference format: IVMC9 will be conducted in a hybrid format on
18–19 June - In-person sessions at the Galata Campus in Istanbul, Turkey.
20 June: Dedicated to online presentations and virtual participation.
Due to popular demand, we have re-opened submissions till 18 February 2025. However, we are now reviewing abstracts submitted up to 15 January 2025 and will be in touch soon with decisions. To submit an abstract, go to visualmethods.info/ivmc9.php
