I think if your first thought when an actor says that they get a laugh out of a ship on set is that they are MAKING FUN of the fans of the ship.. I think that’s a reflection of your own personal character. I know for a fact that’s not what’s happening, Hucklerobby is not talked about or engaged with in a malicious or negative way and I think it’s super weird and lame to see people having a good time and try and make them feel like the show’s actors are mean towards them behind the scenes. That’s the nasty and negative attitude that keeps them from engaging with some corners of this fandom (and for some a factor in not being online at all!!) and it’s exactly why they DO engage with others because the vast majority of us are literally just having fun. If they’re laughing, at least they’re smiling! Sure beats them feeling so uncomfortable by us that they don’t even feel comfortable talking about their characters relationships or posting their irl partners 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hucklerobby Foreverrrr 🫶🏻

Robby’s sabbatical being the longest stretch of time Hucklerobby has been apart since they met 😔 Coming back together both a little changed after being without someone who’s been an emotional support anchor for them and both wondering if the new version of themselves can fit into the life of the new version of the other. Robby thinking Whitaker might’ve blossomed without him and become better for it. Wondering if connecting again could ruin him. Whitaker thinking a healed Robby has no need for him because their bond was forged when Robby was at his lowest. All while Whitaker is having an identity crisis and Robby is only “healed” on the surface. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Kinda crazy that Whitaker is going to be in Robby’s house while he’s on Sabbatical, that Robby cares about him enough to give him a place to live and trusts him enough to take care of Duke while he’s gone. Did any of us think we’d be here when we first watched Season 1? I remember during hiatus everyone was telling us the they didn’t even interact in S1 and had no importance to each other. Look at us now. Hucklerobby Forever.
