Whenever I have to open up Chrome nowadays (to test a web UI, etc), I hold my breath and feel like I'm opening up some malware on my machine. Open it, get the job done, and then close it right back up.
The Google Maps mobile app screen screams of a "PM trying to hit some OKR numbers that have nothing to do with why people use it"
Folks, this is supposed to be a maps utility. Not some Frankenstein smash up of Yelp, Foursquare, TripAdvisor, etc
To which, he LITERALLY nudged me this way (because i was going down building a marketspace/ecosystem of maps apps that this app would recommend). That interview turned into me arguing against this perspective.
