I would like to add another thing, cause for some reason i'm receiving comments like this and I'm really confused about it.
In no way I am NOT condemning artists and/or riggers for NOT doing their job. I even added in the tweet that I confronted someone for not doing their job correctly before and were being called about it, they were a mutual of mine and I was really pissed off about it.
And it wouldn't be the first time, I spoke up about other artists being shitty, cause that's not what you are supposed to do!
Again, yes, there are artists that will fuck up, there are riggers that will fuck up, but unfortunately that's something that is spoken more than the people that do their job right. And believe me, there are so many artists that do their job super well!
If an artist has screwed you over due to stuff not being disclosed, ghosted you or stuff like that that isn't supposed to happen, speak up. Of course speak to them first to see if the problem can be fixed, if not (or in the case of being ghosted), then yeah, speak up! With your whole fucking chest, do. Not only for other customers but for other artists as well.
There are amazing artists and riggers out there that deserve all the love and support in this world, big AND small, cheap AND expensive, professionals AND hobbyists.
It's not a matter of "trust me bro". I'm always seeing artists condemning other artists for not doing their job right, it's not just the customers.
I'm always seeing the discourse of hating artists and stuff and it breaks my whole heart, not because i'm an artist, but because almost all my friends are as well: painting, crocheting, music, rigging, etc.
I think about their art and their craft and how much they freaking adore what they do and how well they do it and how professional they are with their clients.
If you chose to not trust artists then that's your choice and I respect it! But going on to ALL artists saying that they are horrible is not ok!
