Someone asked me today, “Hey, didn't VRAM used to be an AI agent launchpad?”
Yeah, it was.
But while we were building that, we kept running into the same wall. The infrastructure used to train the AI models powering those agents is almost entirely owned by a handful of large companies.
That felt like the bigger problem worth solving.
The mission never changed.
Democratizing AI development has always been the primary focus.
What changed is where we're focusing that mission: putting ownership of AI training infrastructure into the hands of the community, not a boardroom.
So yes, this is a new chapter. A bigger one honestly.
To everyone who has been here since the launchpad days, none of that time was wasted. You helped us identify the real problem worth solving. We don't take that lightly.
