Nigerians are only religious not because they love God but coz of hardship.
The average Christian in Nigeria worships their pastor and goes to church because of a problem they want God to solve for them.

Tiping your office security N1k for buying your lunch, is not you doing him a favour. He earned it. If e easy, stand up from your seat and go get the food yourself. Calculate the financial cost of the stress of going the distance to get the food and back.
If you want to do him a favour, give him money for no reason. Someone would do you a favour, but you would see yourslf as the one doing them a favour because you earn higher than them and don't respect them.
If you send money to your colleague that does the same work with you and asked them to please get you lunch on their way back from wherever they were going, you see it as them doing you a favour because you respect them. You don't see it as a favour done to you when it is done by the office security or cleaner because you don't respect them. If you treat these people well and respect them, they will be happy to do things for you. You've become entitled to their help that you now expect them to use their money to fund your lunch.
My security does errands for me, and every errand comes with a tip. That is thank you for doing this because it is not his job. Favour is when I give him money for no reason which happens often or when he has special needs and makes a request and I give him money. You need to start respecting people as human beings, not by how much they earn. This thing is a common problem in our society.

10 LIFE HACKS/ADVICES MANY OF YOU PROBABLY NEED AND SHOULD KNOW FROM EARLY ADULTHOOD:
1. Life is much better when no one knows anything about you.
2. Never force anyone to choose you. Never beg to be loved. Choose genuineness and naturalness.
3. If you don't work to build your own dream, someone will hire you and use you as a tool for achieving theirs.
4. Free yourself from the chains of society's advice. Most of them have no idea what they are doing.
5. Your are at peace with yourself when you mind your own business.
6. Life WON'T wait for you to be okay. Get up from your comfort zone and keep pushing.
7. Master your emotions. A clear and calm mind can handle any situation.
8. You need to take people for who they are, not want you want them to be. This way, you avoid disappointment and learn to live in harmony with your environment. You become happier.
9. Make sure you take care of yourself cosif anything happens to you, the world would move on.
10. Be smart enough to create your opportunities. Don't wait for them to come to you. Working to create them is a form of PRAYER which will be answered someday.

There is one Super Story intro where a father asked the son to jump down from the roof that he would catch him, and asked the son to jump, only for him to pull away as the son fell flat. He then told the son not to trust anybody, even him his father.
I always wanted to address that.
As a parent, one of the best things you can give and should give to your kids, is trust. You owe them a duty to get them to trust you. A child must be able to say without doubt that "my father/mother said this, they would do it." You will not understand the importance of it until it is too late. There is no moral lesson in that super story, it was simply bad parenting. If I ask my child to jump, he should have 100% faith that daddy would catch him.
I don't have a child yet, but I avoid lying to kids. I would rather a child says "Relax, if Uncle Wisdom said he would do it, he would surely do it." How much more my own child? There is something parents used to do when we were growing up, where they ask you to go get your slippers and before you come back, they have disappeared. I learnt from my brother not to do that. If he isn't taking his son along, he tells him straight up. The worst that would happen is that, he would cry. If he tells him to go get his slippers, he would wait for him where he is. The boy has learnt to trust that daddy is not leaving him behind if he goes to get his shoes. Trust is fickle, it is easy to lose it.
Children are impressionable beings, how do you want them to see you? You are the first line of trust for your own child. You shouldn't be teaching them not to trust you. With trust comes security. The are the adult, the responsibility is on you. Trust is not a gift. You have to earn it.
