The Panthers win game 2 with great pitching and defense, and clutch hitting to pull away at the end. SP Caleb Johnston was outstanding: 5 inn, 10 K’s, 2 BB, 6 H, 2 ER. Christian Welk entered the game with the score 5-2 and slammed the door for the final 6 outs. At Taft tomorrow.

#17 Rogelio Dominguez walks it off in the 6th with a 2 run double for the 10-0 win. Starting pitcher #21 Caleb Johnston and reliever #5 Isaiah Davalos each had the same pitching line, 3 inn pitched, 0 R, 2 K’s, 1 BB. The Panthers travel to Brooks Saturday for a non-con game.

The temp was cold but the Panthers were not. Outstanding bounce back performance heading into the final weekend before conference play. The Panthers are now 4-2 on the season and host the Latin Romans tomorrow at NEIU 10:00 am start.
