In Vuo 2.4.5, we added error-diffusion dithering to the Map Image to Palette node, thanks to support from Gisle Martens Meyer. We also fixed several bugs. The update is free. vuo.org/release/2.4.5
Find out how Gisle Martens Meyer / Ugress is using Vuo to create retro graphics for live audiovisual performances in the latest Vuo community spotlight — vuo.org/spotlight/gmm-datace…
As always, I create in Vuo @vuoflow. Vuo is a procedural, node-based visual programming environment. Generative and audio-reactive, the output you see is rendered to video in real-time for use in installations and situations where it's not possible to have a machine running a live setup.
Extract from audio-visual track "D" from the MÁQUINA MAGNÉTICA debut album (2021).

In Vuo itself you can open examples for almost every node which I've found useful. Just start basic and once you get your head around the flow and structure it's pretty intuitive to chain nodes (a lot of which are really shaders) and see what the outcome is... hope this helps!
More WIP for DUALITY - my installation at @digital__impact!
Been experimenting more with recursion and feeding a @vuoflow composition into another comp via Syphon which gives some interesting results ■¸.•´*♫●♩♬○♪¸.□

Definitely stayed up most of the night working on a new tool just because I wanted easy screenshot DOF. Built entirely in @vuoflow, it has freeform adjustments and drag-and-drop functionality. I love it.
(Pictured is a demo project screenshot from one of my @Blender plugins)
ALT Screenshot of my new tool for easily adding depth of field to PNG files, with the simple text instructions displayed on screen and the rendered output displayed in the background. The screenshot in the screenshot of this screenshot processing tool shows some raw Python code and the Blender 3D interface with some out of focus geometry nodes and spherical instances in a golden spiral array. I think this is the highest level of screenshot inception I've reached so far!
