After all the months of nerves and anticipation of exam results, it’s dawning on me that having done well, my boy is leaving in about two weeks, some of which he’s spending with his friends.

Back from three days at PGL. Many: miles walked, children encouraged to do things that scared them, bedtime stories read to people who missed mummy, sleeping bags stuffed back into bags, taking people to the loo, vomit dealt with x4.
I’ve had a large gin mixed with home made elderflower champagne and am watching Wimbledon. A parent bought us each a box of heroes, which is very much appreciated. Happy to be home.
Got myself a new library card (I’d not been for so long they removed me from the system) and discovered THREE Ruth Galloway books I haven’t read. Happy half term.
