Arrived in Bratislava thinking I knew nothing of the language, only to discover that lots of words are the same or very similar to Ukrainian. Now I can ask to buy fat and say the doctor is there.

Back from three days at PGL. Many: miles walked, children encouraged to do things that scared them, bedtime stories read to people who missed mummy, sleeping bags stuffed back into bags, taking people to the loo, vomit dealt with x4.

I’ve had a large gin mixed with home made elderflower champagne and am watching Wimbledon. A parent bought us each a box of heroes, which is very much appreciated. Happy to be home.
