We’ve loved connecting with you here, but due to budget cuts and fewer team members, we need to simplify where we share updates. Starting July 1, we’ll be focusing on just a few platforms: Facebook facebook.com/WaStateDSHS/ Nextdoor: nextdoor.com/pages/state-of-… LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/washing… YouTube: youtube.com/@WashingtonState… These changes will help us make the most of our resources while still providing you with the news, updates, and resources you rely on. Even though we won’t be posting here anymore, we’re not going anywhere! You’ll still find the same helpful information and ways to connect with us on these platforms. If you’re not already following us there, now’s a great time to join. Thank you for being part of our community, for your understanding, and for your support during this transition. We’re excited to continue connecting with you in new ways—see you on Facebook, Nextdoor, YouTube or LinkedIn!

We've started processing SUN Bucks benefits following a delay in federal funding. All eligible children are getting new SUN Bucks cards for summer 2026. Old cards have been deactivated and will show as “lost” or “stolen” in the ebtEDGE app or when you call the number on the back of the card. *Please don’t request a replacement card.* New cards will be mailed automatically. Card delivery times will vary and might take longer than expected due to card vendor processing times. If you have a question about the status of your new card, please call the SUN Bucks Contact Center at 833-543-3230. For answers to your frequently asked questions or to sign up for text alerts, go to dshs.wa.gov/sunbucks.
