Don't miss the @CACMmag Dec. issue research highlight "Software-Defined Cooking Using a Microwave Oven." This work from @CarnegieMellon's @haojian_jin @wang_wireless @swarunk @jas0nh0ng uses #computation #sensing & #actuation to improve microwave cooking: bit.ly/3oSoM6z
ALT A standard white microwave has been augmented for this software-designed cooking research. The new items are labeled and include optical fibers, programmable turntable, thermal camera and neon lights.
