Leaders are isolated by design. There's no safe room to say "I have no idea what I'm doing here." The higher you go, the fewer people you can be honest with. You perform certainty for employees, investors, board. (Likely your spouse and kids too)
It's exhausting and expensive.

Frank Shamrock called it Plus, Minus, Equal.
You need someone better than you (Plus).
Someone at your level (Equal).
Someone you're teaching (Minus).

There are plenty of manufacturers that make small and relatively cheap maker devices and chips. Claude Code is *excellent* at programming them into whatever device you can dream up.
