a quick introduction since i see a lot of new faces here after helping with @DataRepublican's site! - california refugee, now happily in tampa, florida 🌴 - silicon valley designer for 15 years. always been an outsider ideologically, until now... - former full-time RVer - my primary mode of transportation is a golf cart - i have the greatest family in the world - hands in too many projects, but having a ton of fun. life's about the journey, not the destination. - big proponent of standing for what you believe in and pursuing the life of your dreams - biggest pet peeve is gov't waste. woke up when i got my first big boy job at 18 and started paying income tax. (we could solve so many problems if we stopped funding research to find out if monkeys are gay in south america, for example!) - former shitposter (and habitual complainer) on here, but maybe i'll turn this account into something meaningful now! - my life in photos is on IG, same handle

lol so I go and say one nice thing about @delta and not only does my $2,500 FPM bag somehow get brutally mutilated but it's also stuck in Atlanta for the night 🫠 very on brand for ATL tbh
hats off to lead flight attendant Kendra today on @Delta 1772 from Tulum to Atlanta. absolute first class experience. FAs are in the unique position to make or break the customer experience. usually my posts tend to rant about the bad ones, but this is one of those exceptions compelling enough to tweet about. personable, friendly, smiley, and most importantly, human - like an old friend who stood in the aisle most of the flight chatting with customers. she's one of the good ones, Delta. never let her go.

as a dad, the highest compliment when flying is when the people in the row behind me didn't know my 2-year old was in the row in front of them for multiple hours

Pretty incredible that Elon now has enough money to personally fund almost 3.5 miles of the California high speed rail project

NEW: Spencer Pratt fires back at reporter after he was asked about his plan for the homeless, says they will all end up in Seattle. Reporter: "What are your plans for the over 40,000 homeless in Los Angeles?" Pratt: "Well, they're not homeless, they're drug addicts... These people have been bused in by scam rehabs, scam NGOs, scam homeless nonprofits." "These people, when I unplug them ... they're all going to Seattle, where the mayor will welcome them."

I don't see how he doesn't win with 70% of the vote. if he doesn't, LA is truly unsaveable.

why do USPS branch clerks pride themselves on delivering a 1-star experience?

it blows my mind how inhospitable some flight attendants can be. I'm in the last row on the aisle on a @united flight. pre-takeoff, the two FAs behind me are standing around talking about vacations, etc - just killing time. I had an empty cup with ice, so I turned to see if I could get one of them to throw it away so I didn't have to hold onto it through takeoff. this female flight attendant turns to me with an inauthentic/condescending smile and puts her hand up to indicate "wait"... for several seconds. the other FA instantly turns, sees me with the cup, and immediately reaches over to take it and throw it away. she was also talking about how she's been flying for 20-something years. I'm sure you're getting jaded with the job but man, what happened to just being a nice person, especially when you're on the job and taking care of passengers is part of the job description?

you should totally trust Meta with all your data – you know, the same company who thinks Easter is on a Tuesday, Palm Sunday is on a Monday, and Good Friday is on a Saturday. 🀑

Obviously the allegations are not all "false" because there's evidence. It appears Swalwell was so reckless and degenerate in his personal behavior that it was an open secret in California/DC politics. With that said, the real question is why does all this dirty laundry come out NOW? My best guess: California jungle primary system. Swalwell, Porter, and other Democrat candidates are splitting the Democrat vote to the point that they risked having 2 Republicans make it onto the general election ballot. So CA Democrats needed to knock out one of their own to make sure they can hold onto the governor's office. That's why they sit on all this dirt until the most opportune time. If only media in this country wasn't overwhelmingly just an extension of Democratic Party communications personnel, the public might have found out a lot sooner
Hear it directly from me. These allegations are flat false. And I will fight them.

it's honestly mind-blowing the smear campaign against Swalwell right now. when Biden got accused of sexual assault, that got put to bed pretty quickly. but risk a Democrat splitting the vote? all-out character assassination. don't think for a second Democrats actually care about justice – this is 100% a smear campaign to avoid losing the Governorship of California.
