Since Monday, June 15th, 2026, I have been unable to report any unscheduled TTC service disruptions and security incidents. This is due to the TTC Transit Control broadcast on broadcastify.com being offline for the last 2 days. I have not been able to determine the reason for this.

I'm kind of disappointed that the TTC didn't put any digital signing on the streetcars, especially the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcars, to wish the Canada team good luck playing in the FIFA World Cup. Anyways, as a European football newbie, best wishes and success for the Canada team.

Lol, you think bunching only occurs when you're going to work or home. At 12:15pm, 4 x 509 Harbourfront streetcars are running back to back to back to back EB from temporary Fleet Hub at Fort York Blvd. 🙄

TTC unveils temporary hub to handle FIFA crowds. ME: On World Cup game days, Exhibition Loop is closed for security. On these days, visitors need to exit nearby at a stop with a wooden deck. This stop is supposed to be conveniently located between Toronto Stadium and the FIFA Fan Festival. share.google/o5pG4dwexhPpiej…

I have to check down at Union Station on Bay St in the covered tunnel connecting to GO Train platforms to see any clean up was done. Two days ago, I still saw homeless people with their mess down there. Anyone who is a regular down there knows to avoid that area except of course the tourists for FIFA World Cup.
So it was possible to clean up Hastings Street after all? Will they be able to keep it this way now?

LOL, this explains why I see dirty footprints on Line 5 stations. 🙃
So evidently they built the Eglinton Crosstown (Line 5) without a forced air circulation system, relying on “passive air circulation”. This results in sopping wet platforms on humid days, all in the name of “saving some energy”. Crazy design decision @Metrolinx.

York Region Transit fares to increase July 1 TL;DR or if you can't read past the paywall. Adult riders who use Presto, starting July 1, will pay $4.24 for a single ride while youth riders aged 13 to 19 will pay $3.29, a 12- and 10-cent increase respectively for those fare categories. Seniors aged 65 and older who use a Presto card and children aged six to 12 will see their fare rise from $2.52 to $2.60. Children five and under will continue to ride YRT for free. Cash fare will also increase, from $4.50 to $4.65. thestar.com/news/gta/york-re…
