IPFS is pretty cool --- like taking a time machine back to 1995 and downloading stuff from an FTP server with a 14.4k modem. Can't think of many new technologies that are leaning so heavily into retro vibes. LFG!

Many times this happens:
open workout app on apple watch > tap outdoor walk > perform walk > return from walk > check apple watch > walk not started because actually the ui was blocked by the network loading in the latest "time to walk" thing > walk not recorded > uuuugggghhhh

100% of @lyft’s I’ve taken since pandemic and both times drivers are wearing masks on their chins and listening to right wing radio. 100% never doing this again.
