I sometimes have new T'ers ask me how to plan. They know it needs to begin with a standard & they know what student outcomes to look for. What they don't know is how to create a cohesive story in a way that gives all students access to that story. I always share these questions
Call your students mathematicians. Call them young mathematicians, emerging mathematicians, student mathematicians. Call them mathematical scientists. Call them educators and researchers. Call them mathematicians!
