Considering how much money @Apple has available for projects, you would think they could figure out how to block the Calendar Invite spam on iPhone and iCloud. Even after 10 years, they still don't seem to care.

The face of what Microsoft thought was an average developer in 2008. This "person" was the first image shown on the Visual Studio 2008 installer. They are so excited to use the ASP ListView control.

Got a strange email from @amazon. I haven't bought anything in this category. The link is to Amazon and a real survey site. I also don't think any small change to "face moisturizer" is going to change waste compared to the logistics of single-item shipping.

Welcome to high-minimum-wage Colorado: robots and 2 humans at the store at lunchtime.

It's annoying when companies change their service, then offer to charge you extra for providing them with data and buying their product. @ambientweather is just an example. I paid for your weather station, I send data to your weather services, and then you want me to pay for it.

I do part time stage and audio work at local theaters, it pays $20/hr and I have fun doing it. But I live in Colorado and over 1/3 of the money earned is taken as taxes. Then I hear people cry to the government for a “living wage,” the only way you get that is by lowering taxes.

Colorado has a Boomer Expo, no wonder the state is going to crap.

This seems so out of touch when they (@LinusTech) make jokes about former popular hosts asking to be paid a comparable wage to the city they operate in.

I know this was supposed to be a joke when using the Gemini CLI, but it is the most accurate explanation for rewriting known-good, running code in Rust.

I make tech news shorts and post on @youtube and @x. The videos about @google always have very low view counts, like 5-20, where other videos are getting 500-1500 in a day. I'm not covering negative things about Google either, mostly "AI" announcements or safety initiatives.

This is the real killer of @StackOverflow and @Reddit, quick answers to questions for tasks you don't do often. This also kills a lot of those scam "help" sites that then try to get you to download an app to do this task.

I really hate when there is not a lot of tech news, we get BS like this, all the "news" companies posted the same fake article saying that @amazon has @apple AirTags "almost free" but the price has been the same for most of the year. A month ago it was the same price.

I was looking for a way to generate markdown strings, and I didn't find something that worked for me, so playing with the new GPT-5 Instant I learned how to make a Nuget package. github.com/webluke/SCS.MDScr…

I guess I haven't looked at spinning disks in a year and 28TB is just chilling on Amazon. Also, Windows 8 could have only wished it could have a 20TB drive.

If @valvesoftware and @OnDeck can get the big streaming services on Steam Machine such as @netflix, @DisneyPlus, @AppleTV, than this box would be amazing. x.com/Tek4_Me/status/1988764…

Valve is bringing back the Steam Machine, a tiny cube-shaped gaming PC with a custom AMD chip, 16GB RAM, and built-in Wi-Fi 6E. Running Linux based SteamOS 3, play your whole Steam library in 4K. Launching in early 2026, it’s the newest addition to Valve’s Steam hardware family.

NPR is a joke. The only mention of China was that they manufacture "renewable energy" products in their lame article, mostly about how "Trump isn't playing along with the climate scam." If they care about the "climate" so much, why do they push for countries that are doing something rather than ignore China, which in 20 years has produced more pollution than Western countries? This is just another reason they should not get taxpayer money.

Oh do I love applying using @Workday as a Full Stack developer, you get to see how broken their systems are.

All they give you is an H2 tag, probably because the link from the completed application was "undefined".

Kind of crazy that @SpaceX is launching and landing a rocket almost daily this year. And you can see it all live.

Even the person calling out the countdown and launch message seems like this has become routine.
