I keep seeing this factoid, anyone figure out if it’s actually true?
Like how do we quantify it, bc from a quick google most lizards (approx 7k species) and crocodilians (like 40) males are bigger than females, but most snakes (around 4k) and testudines (200) females are bigger.
Females are (usually) larger and stronger in reptiles and arachnids. They are (usually) smaller in mammals and birds.
So if dragons are reptiles, it's plausible that the females are bigger.
