We need PROPER community engagement & consultation. It’s too difficult for many to see their GP in North Kensington as it is. Another layer of non GP’s just makes it more difficult. Can we retain & train more GP’s instead - sometimes the obvious IS the answer! @ClaireCNWL @Rob999

I once complained that power was not being shared that work was happening outside the group,that credit for community work was not being given fairly. It was an uncomfortable conversation. The response?Put through a formal complaints process, without agreement. The mind boggles.

You can apply this logic to working with communities and people with lived experience. Boxing in outcomes reduces the power of the exchange and denies potential. Many leaders coproduce up to the point that they feel they are losing control then they grab back power.
