On Red Dress Day, WAHA stands united in honouring and remembering Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit individuals (MMIWG2S). We encourage everyone to wear red to raise awareness and to stand in support of justice for those we have lost.

Happy Physicians’ Day to all our full-time, part-time, and locum physicians. Your dedication and compassion make a difference every day. As some of our communities face flooding and evacuations, we are especially grateful to those continuing to care for patients, near and far. It takes someone special to serve in remote communities like ours. Meegwetch.
