Well, if customer service ends up being a higher value role which deals effectively with edge cases and anomalies - and is easy to reach when your AI bot understands it can't do the task - then I reckon that's a better outcome than shitty drudge call centre roles.

Bullets and numbering in MS office , especially Word, is terrible and has been since forever. Forget giving us stuff like Loop, which no-one uses, and spend the money fixing the small things that people really care about.

Microsoft Word forgets whether you've specified English American, English UK, or English Australian. It gives you the option to make one of these the default. You duly make it the default and it duly forgets your choice. It's done this since it got going, 45 years ago. And it's still doing it.

Another thought about Scotland v Italy, Ashman's throwing has been flaky for a long time but his work in the loose means dodgy arrows have been indulged. That backfired badly today.

I think the worst thing about the rubbish Scotland served up v Italy today is that it wasn't a surprise. I just kind of shrugged. Been a fan of the style of rugby Tonnie has tried over his stint but we are now heading backwards fast. Change please.

More anecdotal evidence supporting the thesis of the SaaS -> AI custom apps transition.
Iโve told a great many SaaS companies that CIOs have serious subscription fatigue. That they feel they are โbuying it again every year.โ
This pricing pressure better fit for purpose will dramatically reshape the software market.
