How can the cold blooded mu@der of a young man become such a political issue. Allow the justice system to do its job, the internal investigations find the truth, punishments enforced, and keep the shameful ‘relevance seeking’ of politicians out of it. Respect the family please 🤷

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes on our wedding anniversary. I got home from Q School just after 4pm. Few drinks in Wetherspoons, then a curry in my favourite place. She’s a lucky girl! 😜💪

Left the crucible on Wednesday night. Put in a long 15 day shift in Sheffield, but glad to go home to my family. Watched every shot from 8 pm tonight. They’ll forgive me, won’t they? 🤷😩

No lies, I’ve never liked @NewportCounty playing at Rodney Parade, coz I’m old school, and a rugby fan for 40 odd years. Genuinely delighted they stayed up though and did it without needing other results.

Crucible was my utmost priority, of course….. but I spent nearly 40 minutes today watching updates on a website to see how @NewportCounty got on. Penalty missed, then a goal on 108 minutes? I’m not even a football fan, but you had me in bits! It’s all in your hands in Barrow🤞🙏

I spoke to the legendary referee John Williams yesterday. He had heart surgery recently and being nearer 90 than 80, it’s taken it out of him. He’s recovering though and sends his best wishes to all his friends in snooker that remember him!
