At the end of the day, it’s just a train. But there’s something culturally different going on down here. An optimism, a pride in the work, a relentless focus on quality. It’s something that is sadly becoming more rare in the northeast but is thriving in south Florida (6/7)

Love this. I’ve seen over confidence and self doubt get in the way of talented people over the years. Important to exercise self awareness and have good personal feedback mechanisms to help you hit the sweet spot

Self-confidence isn't always good and self-doubt isn't always bad. The goal is self-awareness, which at its peak generates the appropriate amount of both feelings.

I recently booked a direct flight 4 months in advance at a premium only to have it last minute changed to a connecting flight. The day of travel the first leg of the flight was delayed which would have left me stranded in the connecting city 2/4
