The Slate Truck is a barebones EV that's expected to cost a little under $27,500, or less than $20,000 with the federal EV tax credit included. Deliveries are due to start at the end of 2026, with the entry model packing an estimated driving range of around 150 miles.

NEWS: GM is temporarily halting production of its electric commercial van at its assembly plant in Ontario due to slow sales, the company said.
