Brody Bumila dominated again today in Taunton against one of the top teams in the state. Went five perfect innings, struck out 12, 21 total whiffs. He's up to 39 Ks to 0 Bbs over 15 hitless frames this spring.
Sat 95-98 mph T99 on FB, mixed a few CT at 93 mph, flashed CHG & CB.

GA Southern RHP Ben Johnson goes to the Cubs in the 17th round. Low 90s FB that's a bit of a barrel seeker, fringey high 70s low 80s SL. The main tool here is a splitter that can show plus at times, gets negative IVB at 84-87 MPH. Middle relief prospect that will ride that pitch.

Quick report on OF JoJo Jackson, the Yankees' 17th round selection out of Georgia State. Big stick w/ a long swing from both sides of the plate, plus raw power that he gets to most of despite a below avg. hit tool. Might have to move to 1B/DH, try to get him to stick in LF.

Quick little scouting report on Nationals' 13th round pick LHP Bryant Olson. Late inning reliever for Mercer, big extension with long low slot arm swing. Flat VAA FB in the low 90s T95, sweepy slider in the low 80s. Chance for two plus pitches, might be 2 CMD.
