Planting one of our strip till plots to soybeans today. Big difference in soil temperature. We should have some smart firmer moisture readings here shortly as well. 80° air temp 70° in the strips 60° untouched corn stalks

What a perfect day to wrap up our fall strip till trials, locating fertilizer 4 inches beneath the surface while executing 8 inch deep tillage for the upcoming 2026 soybean crop.

Another day another strip till plot. I can’t remember the last time this farm has had tillage done. I have worked/lived around it for 35 years. This Unverferth Raptor is doing a beautiful job!

We started a project today with our SPS group, our PCT group and Unverferth manufacturing. We are looking at products that increase fertilizer efficiency and placement to better aid our customers. More information will be coming soon!
