AI supercomputers need a new kind of network to stay in sync at massive scale. OpenAI’s @markjhandley and @poyntingatgreg join @AndrewMayne to discuss what it takes to move data across record numbers of chips reliably and efficiently, the new Multipath Reliable Connection (MRC) networking protocol, and why it's available for the whole industry to use.

We've entered into an agreement to join OpenAI as part of the Codex team. I'm incredibly proud of the work we've done so far, incredibly grateful to everyone that's supported us, and incredibly excited to keep building tools that make programming feel different.

GPT 5.2 was fun to work on. We are now so good at training large scale jobs, it's set and forget. Days just go by with the giant cluster humming along. OpenAI has the best and deepest hardware health/workload team out there, it's phenomenal. Team is small team but always hiring!

is it still appropriate to call it a clusterfuck when the subject is, in fact, a cluster
