Due to a heavy berthing incident at our Gunwharf port, both St Clare and our port infrastructure have sustained damage.
While this damage is assessed, all sailings on this route are cancelled until at least 15:20 from Portsmouth and 16:20 from Fishbourne.

We apologise for the disruption today (17 February).
Following further review, we started operating from Portsmouth International Port (PIP) from the 16:00 sailing today.
We will run a shuttle service every three hours overnight between PIP and Fishbourne, and our online timetable has been updated to reflect this.
From Portsmouth International Port, services will depart at 19:00, 22:00 and 01:00. From Fishbourne, services will depart at 20:30, 23:30 and 02:30.
These services will operate with reduced capacity, and unfortunately some customers have had to have their sailings cancelled. Any passengers on a cancelled sailing will be contacted and receive a full refund.
Thank you for your patience while we continue working to safely restore normal operations.

Don’t forget, we have a Calm Room on board St Clare on Deck 4, for the use of neurodivergent or overwhelmed customers who may find a busy ferry a little stressful and need a safe space. ⛴️
We were advised by AIM Autism Inclusion Matters IOW on the best way to design the room on Deck 4.
It has been decorated in neutral colours with blinds to reduce the glare of the sun and there are sensory fidget boards on the walls.

Isle of Wight roadworks: 🚧
From Monday, 2 February to Friday, 27 March 2026, a one-way system will be in place for traffic travelling eastbound on Elenors Grove.
Light vehicles will be diverted through Newport to Ryde via The Downs Road and Ashey Road. HGV’s will be diverted through Newport to Ryde via the A3056 and A3055.
Access to the Fishbourne car ferry service will be via the A3054 westbound from Ryde only.
