Guys, it's simple. You don't have to get off the internet for 2 weeks. You just have to flood the zone with fake spoilers. If every ending is real, none of them are.
Bonus Points to anyone who spends the next 2 months making fan edits and then poorly records them on a phone.

Hey YouTube, how about restarting that creator funding program only this time use it to benefit Animation channels like Glitch and such?
YouTube reports indie animation is taking over:
• 61% of Gen Z fans say they enjoy independent animated series as much as or more than studio content
• The Amazing Digital Circus trended in 8/12 countries after just 4 episodes
• “Alien Stage” videos pulled 330M views in 2025, with 90% from outside Korea
• 50% of viewers watch animated content in other languages

The problem is that Illumination doesn't really make "films", they make the trailers first and then kinda cobble those moments together later as best they can. Sometimes this works out okay, but even in the best case you can always feel how disjointed it makes the final product.

Did YouTube or Google ever set aside an Animation Grant to encourage local talent? Or even promoting those already making it on the platform?
It's always felt like an afterthought there, if not actively discouraged. Just imagining what a million bucks could do for indies.

Incredibly saddened but I just cannot support being a part of a company using AI
I've loved working at buzzfeed so so much and I will treasure it always but we have to stand a stand against AI creeping into our industry.

I made my first test animations for my indie series in Adobe Animate; decided it took too long which was what made me first start switching over to Blender. Feel incredible grateful at the accidental foresight but holy moley what a thoughtless waste of global artistic resources.
