So many bank budgeting apps focus on the mechanics of money, which is understandable.
I really feel like -- especially with GPT etc nowadays -- it's possible to tackle to the psychological aspect too. See the "Money dysphoria" story here 😖theguardian.com/lifeandstyle…
How much French is acceptable in a #crypticcrossword clue @RaiderCrossword ?
Yesterday in Paris, Principal started to yell for organisation (9)
I wonder if anyone's tried a 'Franglais' crossword?
This gave me the idea of setting one for my Uncle's 70th in November, and here it is. Also happens to be my first one I've set so ... feedback welcome! mycrossword.co.uk/cryptic/17… Thanks to @RaiderCrossword for the incredible tool MyCrossword.
A little experiment. I set a bespoke crossword for the marvelous actor @Tonygardner ... and then I sat with him while he solved it and gave him the odd nudge. If you're crossword-curious... this may be something you can follow...

Sundown on another year of Lunapark in #Lausanne - a nice bit of foreground interest for another #sunset#hyperlapse on the #mini3pro. Got lucky with the weather!
It's a ping-pong #sunrise#hyperlapse for when we just need another five minutes in bed 🥱😄 Changing my framing a bit to start focus on the Palais de Justice. Annoyingly there were some lovely clouds colour ... on the opposite end of the sky! #mini3pro
At least I've finally cracked stabilisation, using Tracking in #AfterEffects this time.
It didn't work on two other clips, though, so I think I'm going to have to plan my framing and movement to be 'Trackable' for stabilisation.
More constraints! 🥴
Always always always check your settings 🙈 I don't know when this got turned off, but this morning's hyperlapse wasn't capturing the photos, just the auto-made video. #whoopsie No sunrise colour that I was hoping for anyway, but still ... annoying. At least it got me out of bed.
Recce'ing two nearby viaducts. 1st is big enough to fly through but the setting isn't super picturesque. The smaller, second, one has too many/close trees on one side, but a pan up/right might make a nice sunrise hyperlapse, or up/left for sunset. 🤔🌅🌄
Well the weather here has been 'changeable', just had some ⛈️! Here's the start and end from Thursday this week, where there weren't enough clouds at sunrise, and too many at sunset 🙃 Still struggling with stabilisation, among other things 😅 #mini3pro#hyperlapse
Tried to get a few 'continuous' #hyperlapse clips to go from day-to-night, but struggled with too much cloud, too much wind, stabilisation challenges, and not sure how smoothly these cut together. More practice and research needed!
(I've noted the elevation of the sun so that in future I don't miss the best moment of the night changing batteries!) So frustrating that these two hyperlapses cross that moment. Oh well - every day is a school day!
Two sunset hyperlapses - some stabilsising artefacts, but this is all part of the learning. My ND Filters have arrived! They will really help mask the birds and generally make it silky smooth. Need more foregound action though ... will have to think #lausanne#mini3pro
