A2: Visiting schools is always the best part of my days. Seeing the kids and teachers, and reassuring that they are getting what they need from me.

Trying to keep a connection to my instructional side!!
I don't remember the last time I sat down and watched the whole game!
And it's time I bring some fun to my departments. Doesn't happen enough from the division level.

A4: This is where being annoyingly positive comes in handy. When in public eye, I attempt to bring the most attention to the brightest spot. It may not be very bright, but in every situation, there is a spot. Blast that with a spotlight and don't waver.

A3: You can keep your community behind you by being honest and straightforward. If you dance around the answer too much, its going to bite you in the end. It may not always be what they want to hear, but you gave them the answer they needed in a timely manner.

A2: It is a challenge to accomplish this in a mass message, but being honest and vulnerable in letting them know that you are in the same boat as them--experiencing a lot of the same uncertainties that they are, builds a commonality and connection.

A1: I think that in the past year, we have leaned very heavily on social media to carry a lot of messages for us. It has allowed us to reach out quickly and effectively to our communities. Remind and Facebook are the two mainstays that we utilize.
#vaespchat Hey y'all,
Hope that everyone is doing well, sorry I'm late, I was working to send out a message to our parents checking for their preference on progressing to allow our kiddos coming back 4 days a week!
Just read an article about 20 Q all teacher candidates should be able to answer. Personally, I have issues with these three. All three are reasons why teachers are burning out. We want them to do more and more outside of the classroom for nothing more than to impress others.
2) We should be bragging to them about what we can do within our PD/PLC to help them grow. Why would I want to come to a school where I’m the smartest one in the room?
And finally, 3) if I can’t get that you absolutely love kids, care about education, your school, or working with families from answers throughout the interview, I’ve got all I need to know about you.
