2024-2025 Mid-Major Transfers:
JP Pegues - Furman. JP is my favorite guard in the portal right now for 3 reasons. He is a proven clutch shot maker, under control in the pick and roll, and an elite 3 point shooter with deep range. He is also extremely good at snaking ball screens and finishing at the rim. One of the best guards in the portal in terms of taking care of the rock as well. The main area of improvement I want to see in his game is in his mid-range. Many of you know him from the 3 he hit in the NCAAT to beat Virginia in the first round.
I like the fit for him at South Carolina with the departure of Meechie Johnson. I also like the possibility of Pegues at Villanova or Nebraska.

What a first game back from injury! Hayes missed the last 2 games and returned Friday night racking up 261 all purpose yards and 2 touchdowns (1 rushing 1 receiving)! This kid deserves to be a Mr. Football contender in Division II-AA.
