Wildlife on our new notes, great. But your listeners should know. Thankfully we’ve no captive performing dolphins in the UK but we use deadly chemicals which kill bees, and pregnant & nursing hares can be shot any time. Valuing our wildlife means more than putting it on notes.

I couldn’t agree more. The disenfranchised, nature, biodiversity, climate - are all suffering. Meanwhile power and influence fuel the impunity of those who extinguish hope, equality, and equity - who sow division and desperation in their wake. Humanity has lost its - HUMANITY.

We need a lot more of this, supported by political leaders who care and tough legislation that holds those who pollute, damage, destroy or harm nature to account. @BornFreeFDN
The River Wye has just made UK history. For the first time, an entire river catchment has been formally recognised as a living ecosystem with rights - including the right to flow, thrive, regenerate, and be free from pollution. It's a major victory for nature.

Africa Day 2026. Africa is full of talented, motivated, insightful, and hard working people. Leaders. I am very honoured that the charity I co-founded - The Born Free Foundation - is lucky enough to employ 100 such individuals. They help make us who we are. W @bornfreeFDN

Imagine if a candidate of any other party was found to have deleted an account with so many disgustingly offensive posts. I suspect we will hear very little of this as the Double Standards Squad continue to ply their trade to the benefit of the 5 million pound man
EXCLUSIVE: Reform UK’s Makerfield by-election candidate, Rob Kenyon, had a SECOND deleted social media account, and the archived posts are damning. hopenothate.org.uk/2026/05/2…

Over 80% of the world's terrestrial species of animals, plants, and insects call forests home. Destroying them isn't just cutting trees; it's demolishing neighborhoods.

Not a great photo but what species is this? Very small and I don't think it's a Comma (which is much bigger). Is it a butterfly or a moth? Taken about 08.30 in mixed deciduous woodland with a fading bluebell carpet. Do Comment with any ideas. Thanks W
