Millennials are just so entitled. They didn’t have to fight for the right to vote or share space or go through AIDS crisis. They came to the conclusion that politicians would come to them instead of forcing politicians to represent them because they never faced…

@AriWasserman laughed hearing you talking about going to look at art. I think it’s helpful to think about why it’s fun to see a football player make something easy, but people are so inclined to be cynical about an artist making art look easy. That said; there’s a lot of…

A crazy 3. I think part of the concern for those who aren’t confident in their assessment of art, or in the arts’ assessment of art, is being worried you’re being ripped off, and seeing something easy can make it feel potentially more embarrassing. But that’s really not how to…

Feel secure in buying art. If you really get into it, you’ll find it harder to enjoy work that looks like it was made with too much difficulty- especially when you realize that it’s not more difficult. But it in the beginning you lack the frame of reference to know that.

Can’t believe @VanLathan and @SeanFennessey blew up Russillo’s spot like that. Lathan even admitting he reads the emails every day, not even letting him think he wasn’t getting through or caught in spam? Just reading the whole damn email and then saying sorry, not today ryry 😒

@kirkgoldsberry @BillSimmons hearing your discussion on SGA FTAs & seeing coaches complain about fouls with OKC, but OKC’s statistical lack of success in PF/FT disparity, is this an example of expectations of fairness creating an opportunity for exploitation? What I mean…

For example. OKC has largest stock diff in 26 seasons. 1 more than 2nd, and 2 more than 15th out of 775 seasons. This year, that means 2.4 more stocks than 2nd best and 3.2 more than 3rd. But their opponents average only 1.9 fewer PF? Either OKC opponents get lured into more…

Physical defense despite failing to generate TOVs, or OKC’s overly physical defense actually generates FTAs for their offense, which is exactly what JB and Malone complained about.

I need @AriWasserman to explain how contemporary art is a money laundering scheme 🤣🤣 for 99% of collectors? It’s much more like your card addiction than anything to do with tax evasion. You just don’t know the players or how the games are scored or who’s going to be a HoFer.

It’s not advanced stats. It’s that player 2 got his team 9 more wins than player 3, because he didn’t miss 12 games. Player 1 out scored player 2, but player 2 contributed more across the board than player 1 while player 1 didn’t score enough to counter balance that.

@AriWasserman @andystaples can someone explain to me the obsession with this OSU toughness narrative? 1st of all, they are a tough, physical team. The won the trenches in every matchup outside UM, when they had sudden OL reshuffling. All their receivers are RBs elite blockers.

Howard does not go through progressions, does not make post snap reads, does not throw with anticipation or on time. He’s late on every damn throw. If the offense doesn’t get guys wide open, he can’t reliably make that throw. I just don’t get the analysis of OSU’s offense at all.

It’s like advocating for Kyle shanahan’s biggest blunders while failing to recognize that Howard is basically Beck. It’s obvious Chip and Day are aware of him limitations. The fact they make him look great is what’s so incredible. More passing is not the answer.

@dark1x re: pro - do you think Astro boy could benefit from super sampling? I agree Rt reflections would be great, maybe uncapped frame. Other thought I had was how much the game made me miss SSX, but it also opens up an avenue of development lacking on Sony these days.

Games like Spyro were so much fun. I miss those game on Sony, and wish they hadn’t abandoned it. Next gen experiences in this genre could end up having the creativity seen in BOTW, but feels like Sony doesn’t have enough entrants to the genre to explore all of the possibilities

Not even talking about how bad teammates have been at receiving passes or how much defensive attention she’s getting. WNBA just doesn’t have long history of her kind of play so it stands out, but NBA makes it look far more normal doesn’t have as many players with stoke hands.
