Sometimes i’m jealous of beginner or this new gen of web dev!
They use NextJS and have all the cool tools.
They got templates, they use supabase
They deploy in one click.
Meanwhile, I build from scratch with my bare fingers
I deploy on VPS a separated backend, frontend and DB

Lately I’ve been thinking about ways to improve the developer experience around PM2.
One experiment I made:
adding a UI layer to manage PM2 apps
letting you spin up a new PM2 app straight from the file explorer
It cuts down the context switching between terminal and file system.
If you could tweak the PM2 workflow, what would you change first?

-create a new app straight from the file explorer
It feels less about commands, more about flow.

We use a SQLite database for server explorer and it work pretty well

sqlite is literally a database in one file. but nah, let’s burn 2GB of ram and a postgres container just to store our shopping list.
