Been some questions lately so I thought I'd open the kimono a bit.
Two weeks out from USPA Ultra Nats. Most of the heavy lifting is done now.
Deads: singles on 408 and 419. Better execution than the 440 10 days ago.
Squats: singles on 353 and 364.
Deads. These need work. Approach was wrong today. Was chasing numbers instead of lifting properly. Form and technique were way off today - too much pulling, not enough pushing. Still good to know I’ve got 441 on a bad day.
While I enjoy the mental challenge of dividend investing, especially now in retirement, I enjoy pushing my physical limits even more, hence powerlifting. Last night’s deadlifts - 430 for two singles. Have meets lined up in Feb and May. Looking for something big.
