The @WNBA is the worst officiated league in all of sports. A foul on one end of the court is a foul on the other. And “freedom of movement” is also no longer a priority it seems. The @NBA finals are less physical. You’re losing fans because you suck at officiating.

I think two lessons from LIV will be ... 1. You can't solve time problems with money. It took 40 years of playing the Masters before people *really* started to care. You can't speed that up by signing big checks. You can't microwave history. 2. A modicum of humility goes a long way. Thumping your chest out of the gate and saying "we're gonna redefine a 200-year-old sport over the next few seasons" is not a good strategy. It might eventually be true (spoiler: it wasn't), but it does the opposite of what it probably feels like it's going to do. Most fans are smart, and immense hubris is rarely attractive in any business setting.

The fact @WorldofOutlaws only has a 4 heat race format when they have 60 cars is a huge oversight on their part. Bet it would change if a few of their guys started missing heat races.

It’s not about deserving, it’s about a standard. Same way with any Hall of Fame for any sport IMO. You should never put someone in over “feelings”, there has to be certain requirements that you must meet before being eligible.

A % of property taxes go to schools, yes. 80%? No way. My % of property taxes going to the school district is 57% currently because we passed Bond Issues to build new buildings. Those bonds are 25% of the levy.

I see JaxUSMC12 made it so I couldn’t reply. Here’s my $0.02 Do a sales tax like other states and use that to fund schools. You put some of that burden on tourists that way. But, you wouldn’t want to pay that either. Guess uneducated citizens is what you want.

I enjoy the Army-Navy game as much as the next guy. But the President has no authority to tell broadcasters it’s the only game people can watch at that time. Broadcasters aren’t state media. The President has no authority to dictate sports programming schedules.
