WooCommerce 10.8 is here: stable, faster, and built for WordPress 7.0. WordPress 7.0 changes how buttons, dropdowns, and form controls look in the admin, so update both together or your screens could look slightly off. Here’s what’s in the release: woocommerce.com/posts/woocom…

We grew so quickly we didn't have time to announce 40,000 Angie installs. Now we're already at 50,000 🥳 Thanks to @Elementor_Angie, people are building things they say they wouldn't have attempted before. The gap between knowing what to build and manifesting it has disappeared, and now creators can deploy what they dream. If you're one of the 50,000, we'd love to hear what you're building!

Even before I hit record, I knew this product would be a hit with me. It didn't disappoint! I barely scratched the surface of what Unblock can do, but having full access to the code (HTML, CSS, and JS) right there in the block editor...🤌 On top of that, getting full responsive controls, dynamic content, conditional block display, an AI assistant (build, design, and write), etc., is just stupid good. This is what the WordPress block editor should have been...YEARS AGO!
InfluenceWP First Look—Unblock The Unblock WordPress plugin enhances the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg), pushing it beyond its boundaries. - Full Code Access - Dynamic Content - Conditional Display - Queries & Loops - and more! influencewp.com/iwp/unblock

23 years. Millions and millions of sites. One mission: a better, open web. Happy birthday, @WordPress. 🎂
23 looks good on WordPress. 🎂 Since May 27, 2003, WordPress has been blogging, building, publishing, shipping, translating, theming, plugin-ing, and making the web a little more wonderfully weird. Happy birthday, WordPress. 💙

Someone in our community asked: is there a way to add a pause button to background videos in Elementor containers, for ADA accessibility? Elementor doesn't have that natively. So we took her exact question, pasted it into Angie with the newly released Plan Mode on - which had Angie ask clarifying questions about scope and button placement before building - and built the whole thing live on yesterday's Angie Demo webinar. We're at the stage where you no longer have to file a feature request and wait - with Angie, you can just build it. We also demoed a scroll-controlled video (video plays as you scroll, reverses as you scroll back up) and a video marquee built by customizing a prompt from the Angie prompt library. Episode 6 replay: youtube.com/watch?v=kPQKCCWh… Skipping next week for @WCEurope - see you at our next live session on June 9th!
Episode 6 of the weekly Angie Live webinar focused entirely on video 📹 Three builds, all done live from prompts: * An accessible pause/play control for Elementor background video containers - no native option for this exists in Elementor, so a community member asked if Angie could build it. I pasted their exact question in and it did. * A scroll-controlled video hero widget - video plays frame-by-frame as you scroll down the page and reverses as you scroll back up. One prompt to build a full custom Elementor widget. * A video marquee, built by taking an existing entry from the Angie prompt library (Moving Image Gallery) and adapting it for video instead of images. I also demoed Plan Mode for the first time - instead of going straight to execution, Angie asks clarifying questions before it starts building. For the accessibility feature, it asked things like: should this apply to every page, or just specific ones? Where should the button be positioned? Better questions up front means fewer revision rounds. You can catch the whole episode here: youtube.com/watch?v=kPQKCCWh…

Angie now saves the exact version history of your snippets so you can roll back with total precision. ⏪ We just launched Angie Revisions to solve the one thing every AI user dreads, reconstruction drift. Here's a workflow most Angie users will recognize. After a long session of prompts, refinements, and adjustments, one change breaks something you spent real time getting right. You ask to roll back, but the AI just reconstructs what it thinks you had. It looks close, but it is not exact. A detail is off, a layout behavior shifted, and the component is no longer right. Revisions is built to fix that. Going back now means returning to the real thing. → Each time you make an update, Angie stores the exact state of your snippet → Open your history and return to any saved state with a single click → What comes back is the real thing, never an AI approximation Revisions are available now and free for all Angie users 👇Click here to learn more about Angie Revisions elementor.com/blog/angie-rev…

WordCamp Asia 2026 is a wrap! 🇮🇳 Our team just returned from an incredible three days at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, and we are still buzzing from the energy of the community. Meeting so many talented web creators and seeing our amazing community in person was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. 🤝 The floor was alive with conversations about the future of web creation, from the potential of agentic AI with Angie to the new scalable foundation of Version 4. Whether you stopped by for a technical deep dive, a demo of Elementor One, or just to grab some custom t-shirts and stickers, we loved every minute of it. The future of web creation is bright, and we’re just getting started. See you at the next one! 👀

Remember that quiet booth before the crowds? Yeah, that didn't last long. What an incredible day at #WCAsia. Thank you to everyone (yes, all of you!) who swung by the Woo booth. We're back here again in the morning, come say hi! 👋

Meaningful moment at @WordCampAsia in Mumbai. 💙 Mary Hubbard signed on behalf of the WordPress Foundation in a collaboration agreement with DY Patil Agriculture & Technical University (@DYP_ATU), Talsande, Kolhapur, with Dean Jaydeep Patil and faculty members present. The agreement reflects the growing momentum behind WP Credits and its work to connect education, open source, and contribution across India.

I'll be speaking twice at @cloudfest this year: moderating a panel on Monday on what AI actually changes for WordPress hosting (a question I find very interesting right now), and giving a solo session on Wednesday on scaling AI for WordPress hosts and agencies. My argument is basically that WordPress is very well positioned for this moment and will explain why. webhosting.today listed my Wednesday talk as one not to miss. No pressure 😅 @elemntor is also sponsoring CloudFest this year with a focus on Angie, our AI creation engine for WordPress. Come find us at the booth if you want to see what that means in practice for hosts, agencies and developers. Look for the pink 🩷 #CloudFest

Special moment at WordCampPHC Bruce Lucas took a pause during his session to recognize Emmanuel Eluwa for the work done with WordPressPHC. It wasn’t just applause, it was acknowledgment of impact. Of building. Of showing up. Of creating spaces that empower others.
