Casting two former disney stars in a musical movie was easily one of the smartest decisions the direction has ever made

I'm actively tired of this take. Please go read some comic history. You can personally not like Tim if you like, but stop ignoring his importance in revolutionizing the Robin mantle and differentiating himself from Dick and Jason's versions
Dick Grayson: Original Robin for decades that inspired dozens of other sidekicks Jason Todd: Solidified Robin as a mantle that wasn't exclusive to Dick Grayson and could be passed down during a time when DC thought sidekicks were outdated Tim: Drake

Groundbreaking idea. Let's dissolve the Teen Titans and abolish all child heroes while we're at it. Shall we invite Kon-El and Lian Harper to the party too? Or are you only concerned with Robin?
robin should've died with jason. the only reason it still exists is because dc didn't want to lose robin fans. story wise the continuation of robin makes batman look like an abusive man exploiting children to do something that literally killed one before

God these takes are so stupid. Stop acting like you actually care about the ethics of child heroes and not just hating on Bruce specifically. Child heroes are fundamental to the genre; complaining about them is like complaining there's songs in a musical.

sorry y'all, but I'm tired of "Tim contributes nothing" takes. Tim is the reason Robin still exists, the reason the Batfam exists, & the reason so many characters everyone loves are even around at all. He objectively revolutionized Robin & changed the Bat mythos. Deal with it.

Tim is the character who proved that Robin was a mantle worth keeping alive. He's the living embodiment of the rejection of Batman as a loner hero, the refusal to succumb to the angsty grimdarkness of 80s/90s comic culture. If you don't understand that, you need to read more.

Actually, it's kind of hilarious if you consider that Zuko wasn't given anything to do on the day of the black sun, and being someone who needs something to do, decides to do treason.

look at this guy, he doesn't even know the Supergirl on the left is a shapeshifting non-binary goo monster that believed she was Clark for a whole arc
De um lado, a Supergirl clássica Pós crise do final dos anos 80 a 90, uma Supergirl totalmente feminina e ao mesmo tempo imponente. Do outro lado, a Supergirl do DCU, bêbada e bagunçada. Um completo desrespeito às mulheres e às personagens femininas.

And if I said the collapse of sci-fi franchises goes hand-in-hand with the rise of fascism and right-wing sentiments? Sci-fi thrives on this sort of forward-looking, almost childish, belief in a better tomorrow, which feels impossible these days.
Look at my beloved, genre-defining sci-fi franchise, man. Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, and Doctor Who...

DC has announced Absolute Cassandra Cain:The Shadow's Hand by Che Grayson and Mattias Bergara. It releases on September 9 "The one-shot explores the origin of Cassandra Cain within the Absolute Universe. According to DC, the story begins years earlier when the Joker trained with the League of Assassins before slaughtering its members after learning everything he could. From that devastation emerged Lady Shiva and her daughter Cassandra Cain. The issue will examine how Cassandra became one of the world’s most formidable assassins and reveal the connection between her and Selina Kyle". Via:(aiptcomics.com/2026/06/09/ab…)
